In the stock markets, trading is speculation on financial instruments with the aim of making a profit. Trading is mainly based on technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and the application of a specific trading strategy.
Traders are known as traders (or, alternatively, traders or self-employed traders)1, who can work independently, in an investment fund, bank or other financial institution. Traders are categorized into scalpers, day traders, swing traders, and position traders depending on the length of their trades. The opposite of a trader is an investor, who trades by nature for the long term. A trader can act as an intermediary broker, speculator, arbitrageur, or hedging trader, with the aim of making a profit. They can, in addition to being individual traders and manage their own capital, manage third-party capital as money managers.
