The copywriter is the copywriter who writes the so-called copy. Their activity is known as copywriting. In many cases, the task of the copywriter goes beyond the advertising text and is the one who develops the idea or concept that will end up becoming the creative piece of advertising. One of the main objectives of the copywriter is to make a product or service commercial, for which they will use all kinds of language that persuades the target audience.

Copywriters are responsible for the content of advertising pieces such as traditional press ads, brochures, advertising posters or direct mail, and more modern banners, emailings, websites, social media posts, etc. But they are also the advertising scriptwriters for television commercials, radio spots and other multimedia media.

There are examples of copywriting agencies that bring together a team of copywriters to offer their services to marketing companies, advertising agencies, communication firms, city councils and politicians, or to the press departments of large and medium-sized companies.
